AdamsPlace Opens Memory Care Center, Celebrates 20 Year Anniversary

On July 19, 2017, AdamsPlace held a campus-wide celebration in honor of its 20th Anniversary. They also held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Grand Opening of their new 13,469 square-foot Memory Care Center.



AdamsPlace Awarded at NHC Food and Nutrition Conference





AdamsPlace received five awards at the 2016 NHC Food and Nutrition Conference for their excellence in Food Service. The awards included the Clinical Excellence Award, Augusta E. Walker Award, Dining Services of the Year Award, Dietary Services of the Year Award and the Customer Satisfaction Award (all pictured above).

Ann Clark named Executive Director of Assisted Living



AdamsPlace has named Ann Clark as the Executive Director of Assisted Living for the campus, according to Buckley Winfree, Administrator.
Clark has served as the Marketing Director for Assisted Living since joining AdamsPlace in 2011. In this new position, she will oversee the campus expansion and opening of the new Memory Care Center at AdamsPlace as well as play a larger leadership role with the overall operations.

In making the announcement, Winfree stated, "Ann has been instrumental in the success of our Assisted Living operation, from new resident communication to community relations and ongoing resident service. She has helped make this a welcoming environment for our residents and their families while effectively managing the center for our company. This new position reflects that performance, and I am confident she will guide us to even more success in the future."

Clark has over 20 years of experience in the marketing and operation of assisted living communities. A native of Murfreesboro, she is a graduate of MTSU.



AdamsPlace receives four Awards of Excellence


AdamsPlace received the Five-Star Certification of Excellence Award, the Center of Excellence Award (both pictured above), the Administrator's Roundtable Award and the Honor Club Legends Award from the National HealthCare Corporation at this year's annual management conference in San Antonio, Texas.
The Five-Star Certification of Excellence Award, the most prestigious internal award, was presented to AdamsPlace for achieving the NHC standard of Excellence. AdamsPlace has received this award 16 times over the years.

In addition, NHC honored AdamsPlace with the Center of Excellence Award, the Honor Club Legends Award and the Administrator's Roundtable Award, both given to the centers that are continually ranked in the top 10% for best overall operational performance.



AdamPlace makes donation to Siegel High School's HOSA program

AdamsPlace donated $1,575 through our TFGE Foundation (The Foundation for Geriatric Education) to help Siegel High School's HOSA program. HOSA - future health professionals - is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education (HSE) Division of ACTE.

AdamsPlace breaks ground on new Memory Care Center



AdamsPlace broke ground on a new 13,469 square-foot Memory Care Center Tuesday morning. The new center will expand its Assisted Living services, according to Buckley Winfree, administrator.

AdamsPlace Therapy Team wins Two Awards

The Therapy Team at AdamsPlace Rehabilitation won the Most Effective Rehabilitation Program award, as well as the Staff Development award at this year's Patient Care Conference in St. Louis, Mo.

The Staff Development award is based on outstanding performance in professional development, clinical affiliations and community development. The Most Effective Rehabilitation Program award is based upon patient care, customer satisfaction and staff development criteria.

In addition to winning the two company-wide awards, Beth Carroll, director of Rehab, was nominated for Rehab Director of the Year.



AdamsPlace Assisted Living named in the Top Three Best Assisted Living Facility in the 2014 Besties



The AdamsPlace was voted in the top three for the Best Assisted Living Centers in the Murfreesboro Post's Besties, Best of the Boro 2014 Awards. This is the fifth-consecutive year AdamsPlace has been voted into the top three! Buckley Winfree, Administrator of AdamsPlace in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is National HealthCare Corporation's Administrator of the Year.

The award is the highest honor an administrator for NHC can receive. Winfree competed with over 70 other administrators in 10 states for the award. NHC's Administrator of the Year Award is presented to the administrator who meets NHC's highest standards in patient support, safety, rehabilitation and nursing care, low employee turnover and budget performance.

Residential Living's Chef Michael voted TOP CHEF at Cheffin Up Cook-Off September 21, 2011



Residential Living's Chef Michael was voted TOP CHEF at NHC's Cheffin Up Cook-Off held September 21, 2011 at AdamsPlace. 4 NHC Chefs each received a mystery basket with identical food items and had to create two entrees. A panel of 12 judged each dish on Appearance, Creativity and Taste. Each Judge had to raise $125 to participate. The event included a wine tasting and judging contest, and a silent auction, with all proceeds going to the annual Alzheimer Association's Walk to Remember. Congratulations Chef Michael!!
